Women’s Group

The Women’s Group was launched in 2020 to provide a safe space for local women who are looking to meet others, learn new skills, relax, participate in community projects (e.g. knitting, gardening) and receive practical support (through other services at Elizabeth House or within other local groups).

This group is led by the women who are part of it.

You don’t need to book or be referred. Everyone is welcome and this group will be what you want it to be as a group.

Every Monday from 11.30 am to 1 pm – term times only. As part of our warm place winter offer, anyone is welcome to stay until 3 pm for tea, biscuits and to relax.

Planned activities: knitting squares to make blankets and other bits for premature babies’ ward at Whittington Hospital (beginner knitters very welcome), gardening sessions, calligraphy and potentially singing workshop if there is interest.

Supported by the Stay Well, Live Well project. A partnership with the Octopus Network.
