Yoga for children at Elizabeth House!
September is here and children are getting back to school. It’s the right time to bring some sunshine into their daily routine. Why not try yoga and mindfulness?
Yoga and mindfulness for children are taught in a loving and non-competitive way. The classes include postures, breathing, relaxation, and meditation. They also weave in partner poses, creative moments and storytelling. By taking part in yoga classes, children learn how to concentrate, increase self-confidence and improve motor skills. They also develop important social skills. But above all, yoga for children is a lot of fun.
Classes start on Monday, September 16 at Elizabeth House Community Centre.
